The Photographer
I’ve been shooting commercial real estate for about 20 years. I’m drawn to the visual side of things, how light and space and proportion come together, and I’m happiest working closely with the agents, developers, and designers on a project rather than just showing up and shooting. For me, a good photo of a building isn’t really about the building. It’s about the feel of the place.
I’ve lived on Vashon Island for the past five years, raising my kids on a farm out on Westside Highway. Farm life has a way of keeping you tuned in to natural light and a sense of place, and that tends to show up in my work.
